It was just a strong match for a couple of nights in Thames at a reasonable price. The outdoor area offered great views and was perfect for relaxing. Consider bringing your own chopping board for food prep.

The hot tub was a delightful addition, offering a perfect way to unwind after a day of adventure.

The view from the Rata Chalet is fantastic, especially during sunrise, and the kitchenette has just enough tools for basic cooking needs.

The hotel shows signs of wear, and the wooden walkways, plunge pool, and surroundings could all use some sprucing up. Internet access is spotty at best, only functioning properly at the main office area, which is a real letdown when staying indoors on a rainy day.

What a stunning getaway! I enjoyed a cozy stay in the spacious Rose Chalet with fantastic views. The warm welcome set the tone for a relaxing night, and the little touches like chocolate biscuits were delightful. I especially appreciated having the option to cook my meals using the available facilities. I'll definitely return!

The view from the Kauri Chalet is absolutely breathtaking! 🌅 Super clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The only downside was the unreliable internet. Overall, a fantastic place to relax and unwind.

easy access to parks and historical landmarks in thames

We had a fantastic time enjoying the stunning views from our kuywai chalet, and the location made it super easy to stroll into town and visit the Thames Historical Museum and the Coastal Walkway, both just a couple of kilometers away.

I had an amazing stay in the Camellia Chalet. The views were fine, and it was super clean-definitely met my OCD standards! Perfect for some quiet time, and I loved the little touches like the fresh cookies.

The views from the Rata Chalet are breathtaking, but the floors creak a lot.

We had a fantastic time staying here! The spacious, clean room had amazing views, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. We explored The Pinnacles and Kauaeranga Valley trails, which were both great for hiking. Also, the hosts were incredibly friendly and offered valuable tips about the area.

One downside was that the pool was out of service during our visit, which was disappointing since we were looking forward to relaxing there.

The Kauri Chalet was super comfy, and the views were absolutely breathtaking! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, we both got such great sleep. Alby was an awesome host, even showed us the tropical gardens. The room was super clean with all the little extras like fresh cookies and a nightcap. Only downside was the spotty internet, but everything else was spot on for a cozy getaway!

Family with children will love it!

The hosts were super cute, Alby even showed us around the tropical garden, felt like a vacation paradise! We stayed in the Kowhai Chalet and it had this beautiful enclosed deck where we spent hours soaking up the sun and just relaxing.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but still worth every penny.
