It was just a strong match for a couple of nights in Thames at a reasonable price. The outdoor area offered great views and was perfect. Consider bringing your own chopping board for food prep.

Property was quirky and quiet little, I really enjoyed the stay.
Have stayed here many times and would love to stay here again. Everything was brand-new, amazing location not far from Thames and the Coromandel as well as the bars/ restaurants in town, superfriendly staff. I was pleased with amazing service, modern room with amazing views, patio, the bedroom. I had a fridge, a toaster, and an oven...

The hot tub was a good addition, with a perfect way to unwind after a day of adventure.
The internet connection was quite unreliable, only worked well at the main office area.

We were made to feel very welcome and hosts Albe and Rachel made sure that we had everything that we needed for our four night stay. Even though we had self catering facilities our breakfasts were provided and brought to us during the evening for the following day. We awoke to the sound of birdsong and had total relaxation during our visit. Beautiful views over the firth of Thames and superb sunsets ! We would certainly recommend Grafton Cottages to anyone visiting the Coromandel.

Very very very beautiful, up up up in the hills but so close to Thames the town. The cottages were really really cool.
Arrive early, have dinner by about 6pm cause all shops close at 5pm and super market closes at 8pm

The services were INCREDIBLE. The room was reasonably large and we had access to a nice pool. The location was great, in a terraced area with nice views, in the beautiful area.

The view from the Rata Chalet is fantastic, especially during sunrise, and the kitchenette has just enough tools for basic cooking needs.
The hotel shows signs of wear, and the wooden walkways, plunge pool, and surroundings could all use some sprucing up. Internet access is spotty at best, only functioning properly at the main office area, a real letdown when staying indoors on a rainy day.

Perched high up on the hillside we had a very comfortable and well equipped cottage with fabulous views over the river mouth and sea. The staff were very friendly and provided and excellent a copious continental breakfast each day.

Breaking it down, plain and simple
What a fine getaway! I enjoyed a cozy stay in the spacious Rose Chalet with fantastic views. The warm welcome set the tone for a relaxing night, and the little touches like chocolate biscuits were good. I especially appreciated having the option to cook my meals using the available facilities. I'll definitely return!

It's location provided great views and not too far from the township. I also liked the continental breakfast that was provided with the little extras. It was a little gem that I really liked.
Nothing to make a comment about this part.

We had an excellent stay for Coromandel visit.
Everything was wonderful, so where lovely views of the sea. The location was marvellous, close to Thames and a geart base for activities in the Coromandel, in a tranquil area. Also, Karaka Waiotahi track was 4 km away. We appreciated the Thai cuisine in the restaurant.
